Alcoholic Units – 3 (how sensible; if only I hadn’t decided to gatecrash BDK and Ron at the Con club for post match drinks🤪😱

A lack of volunteers for today meant we were asked to help, so no Spoons today! What a double act we made!! BigAl quickly decided he was too pretty to be locked away and so within minutes I was behind bars and he was mingling front of house 🤐

It was good to see a few of the Green Army out today:

Chelseaboy arrived early and found a drinking buddy in Big Dave K – what could possibly go wrong 🤣 Bunnyman, M & EM, JT & Sam, Rodney & WaderLew; Uncle Albert was MIA with another mysterious ailment….much more of this and he will be known as sicknote 😷😉 Willow also made a brief appearance with the Green Army when she made a run for it from behind enemy lines 🐕 no treats were involved…honest! 😉

I was very impressed with the set up at Langford rd – the bar worked better than ever!! and they have got small bottles of wine, including fizz 🥂🍾

To be fair everyone was sensible ref masks and social distancing, lets hope that continues when we have the ‘bigger’ clubs visit.

It was good to See Darren and Anya at their 1st home game since the sad loss of Yvette (AKA Dave and Yvonne), they had also made the trip last week to Chesham where we learnt of her un-timely passing 😪 Yvettte and Darren have be supporters home and away for a few seasons now and Darren’s daughter Anya would often be seen assisting Becs with the raffle. It is so very sad , that I cannot put into words, only to say that she will always be part of the Wader Family 💚⚽️💚 and I know Darren has something planned to ensure Yvette will not be forgotten x

OK, its now announced ‘The Yvette Brewer Stadium’ I’m sure we’ll come up with a catchier nickname (she’d expect no-less!!) But fair play to the family 👏👏👏💚⚽️
